For most of us, giving or receiving flowers is accompanied by a special occasion or milestone such as Mother’s Day, birthdays, graduation, funerals, etc. But for Hadley and Terri Han, owners of Jason Kenneth Designs, flowers are a way of life. “I always had an eye for flowers and I went to floral design school in Los Angeles,” states Hadley. Eager to start his own business after attending an entrepreneurial type seminar, Hadley enlisted the help of his CPA. “As luck would have it, his mother had operated a floral shop, so he knew what I needed to do to launch the business.”
Named after his late brother, Jason Kenneth Designs’ officially opened in 1984 serving primarily weddings and high-end clients. Then, in 2003, many of Hadley County contacts had spread to Las Vegas and urged him to open a shop here. In April 2009, Hadley won the bid to be the house florist for Treasure Island. Hadley not only designs all of the arrangements for the TI’s weddings and events, but also creates arrangements for inside the property, such as the hotel lobby, which are changed out twice per week. In addition, Hadley maintains all of the plants inside the property and supplies flowers for room service, the VIPs, and retail coolers in the gift shops. Hadley has been featured on PBS’s “Victory Garden” and WEtv’s “Platinum Weddings.
Hadley and his wife Terri will celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary in October. “Interestingly, we were in Vegas at Caesar’s Palace when he proposed,” recalls Terri. They have two kids, Jason, 13 and Alexa, 15. How did they find Stiles Insurance Services? “Our girls played volleyball and went to school together at Calvary Chapel Christian School,” said Terri. So, why should anyone choose to do business with Stiles Insurance Services? “I like the personalized service I get. Often times I can deal with Steve directly,” states Hadley. “Also, he shops around for us to get the best deal possible, instead of just presenting quotes,” added Terri.
Building solid relationships is important to Stiles Insurance Services. “I admire Hadley as a businessman and most importantly as a person. I’ve never met a more humble, unassuming professional,” states Stiles. For more information about Jason Kenneth Designs, please visit www.jasonkenneth.com or give them a call at 702-368-0017.
