You won't find a more vivacious and lively master barber than owner Barb Saldaa. Her hospitality and charm is infectious and you'll feel more like you're at home than in the barber chair. You would think that Barb's been doing this her whole life, but in fact, she began her career in 1998. "If you can believe it, I was a financial advisor, but, I sucked at it!" explains Saldaa. "My boss had just sent me to a seminar and I remember coming back and saying, thanks for sending me, but I want to be a barber!"

Saldaa began her career at Your Barber in Henderson which was owned by her father-in-law. However, she wanted more. "Of all of the hard working stuff you do for a boss, I figured I could do it for myself," states Barb. Named after oldest son Ashton, Ashton's Classic Barbers opened the doors on its current location in 2005. "We were one of the first tenants in this strip center," recalls Barb.

She attributes her success to her clients. "I really have to praise my clients that followed me because they promised to help me while I built my business." So how did Barb find Stiles Insurance Services? "Steve started coming here to get his hair cut and told me what he did. My insurance was so high, so I asked him to give me a quote. He saved me more than half! I try to push his business and I give out his cards at least once a week," says Barb. Why does she remain a loyal client?
